Hello. I am Abbie. Welcome to my blog.

My cup is always half full and I live my life with a grateful mind.
Every day I find things to be grateful for in life. There is always something……ALWAYS! 

Even when you’re living with the dreaded ‘Big C’. I was diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer in December 2020 and this meant that my whole life’s perspective changed…..for the better. I have NO option to beat this for my family.  Living to tell the tale is at the forefront of my mind and WILL happen.      

I am a proud Mummy to a beautiful little boy, with Autism Spectrum Disorder. He brings sunshine to my life. Challenges sometimes but mainly sunshine.

I love to sing and am one of three vocalists in an 11-piece Soul, Dance and Disco Band called Platform Soul. The band has been going strong for 25 years! (www.platformsoul.co.uk)

I am also the singer in a vocals and piano female duo called Serendipity performing pop, soft rock, soul and blues covers spanning from 50’s to present day.

I am also an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics bringing everyone’s inner beauty to the surface with skin care and makeup workshops.

And my ‘last’ hat I wear, I have a nail business, specialising in manicures/pedicures and gel nail application.

So….my life is good and I intend to keep it that way. Read my blogs to be inspired to live life to the full no matter what gets chucked in your face!
